This year, during Spring break, I have been invited to the U.N. to
participate in the conference of the Commission on the Status of
Women and some UNICEF activities as well. This will also involve
charity events and social service projects on both the west and
east coasts with children facing various challenges. I will be
visiting 7 states in 7 days! A short amount of time but sure to be
fun! Using academics and the arts as a medium, youths are
encouraged to strive to be their best and help others; starting
in their homes, communities and beyond. I will be hosting a
series of community service events featuring the platform I
created entitled "A Star In You." This time the theme is:
"Together we Stand." Using multi-media and active participation,
youths will engage in positive self expression, hope, healing
and academic growth.
